Description:
We wish to strengthen our accounting and financial reporting function in Northern Europe with a new Snr. Accountant. In this role you will not only participate in the day-to-day accounting, reporting and analysis operations of the German & Norwegian legal entities, but also participate in process improvement initiatives. This is a unique opportunity for professional and personal growth as the tasks and responsibilities will be tailored to the candidate’s skillset, profile and professional interests. The position reports to the Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting located in Oslo , Norway.
- Various tasks in the financial process including accounting, controlling, analysis, internal controls and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide financial insights and decision making support to internal stakeholders in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Actively participate in improvement initiatives in accounting and reporting processes, ensure correct and efficient use of available tools.
- Prepare, verify, record and analyze financial transactions: Maintain accurate financial records ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare and submit tax declarations and statistical information to authorities. Ensure proper filing of all relevant documents from an accounting perspective.
- Handle various administrative tasks related to finance and accounting as necessary to support the smooth operations of the department.
