Fondé par le professeur Yoshua Bengio de l’Université de Montréal, Mila rassemble des chercheurs spécialisés en intelligence artificielle et plus précisément en apprentissage automatique, apprentissage profond et apprentissage par renforcement. Reconnu mondialement pour ses importantes contributions au domaine de l’apprentissage profond, Mila s’est particulièrement distingué dans la modélisation du langage, la traduction automatique, la reconnaissance d’objets et les modèles génératifs. Depuis 2017, Mila est le fruit d’une collaboration entre l’Université de Montréal et l’Université McGill, en lien étroit avec Polytechnique Montréal et HEC Montréal.
Mila s’est donné pour mission d’être un pôle mondial d’avancées scientifiques qui inspire l’innovation et l’essor de l’intelligence artificielle (IA) au bénéfice de tous.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

  • At least five (5) years of experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects and learning programs and projects, involving external and internal partners, ideally in a innovation or technology ecosystem;
  • University degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent level of professional qualifications and/or experience;
  • Experience in digital marketing and business development are an asset;
  • Project and program management and organizational skills combined with a strong attention to detail;
  • Facilitation and learning design skills are an asset;
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with a wide range of people and audiences at all levels;
  • Diplomatic, able to negotiate and apply judgment in complex areas;
  • Time management, prioritization and calmness under pressure;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and work in a team environment,
  • Comfortable working in a flexible and evolving environment;
  • Be bilingual, as you will be interacting with some of our english-speaking partners, stakeholders and members of the academic community.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing and business development plan for AI for Humanity learning programs;
  • Develop processes and operational infrastructure for the delivery of Mila learning programs;
  • Manage and control learning program timelines, budgets (including contracts for speakers and facilitators) and activities;
  • Coordinate program related communication with participants, professors, program contributors and experts;
  • Develop and oversee recruitment, registration and selection process for all learning programs and projects;
  • Manage and develop the assessment and evaluation of program performances;
  • Work in collaboration with the events team to deliver high quality participant experiences at Mila facilities;
  • Act as a primary contact point for all internal and external partners and ensure strong business relationship management;
  • Work with the Mila’s communications team to develop communication, marketing and content material for the programs incl. video production.
