Gestionnaire du crédit / Credit Manager

Nous offrons présentement une possibilité d’un poste permanent à temps plein au département de finance à un de nos bureaux (Mississauga, Ontario ou Montréal - Lachine).

REQUIRED EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:

• Credit Designation (CCP)
• Post Secondary education – minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Proven expertise in credit risk management
• 5-8 years of related work experience in a Credit department as a Manager or Supervisor/Team Lead within a larger organization
• Previous work experience in distribution industries would be an asset
• Knowledge of SAP would be a definite asset
• Bilingual - French and English

• Manage the Credit Team (4 direct reports) regarding Credit and Collection
• Manage credit reviews and limits, approve new accounts and customer aging
• Take action on past due accounts,increase in exposure/potential liability and non-performing accounts
• Support negotiations with Customers and the Sales organization regarding delinquent/slow accounts
• Create and deliver monthly credit reports to senior management highlighting key areas of concern/opportunities
• Other – Staff development, maintain industry knowledge, bad debt write-offs, oversee department budget, renew collection agreements with third party agencies
• Manage Cash Application staff - ensure accuracy, timeliness and any issues related to cash application (eg: payment remittances)
