Are you passionate about driving improvements and armed with a keen eye for detail? Browns might just have the perfect opportunity for you. We’re seeking a dynamic and seasoned Senior Manager to lead our Continuous Improvement team and optimize all aspects of logistics within our Distribution Center and retail stores.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Senior Manager Continuous Improvement & Special Projects, you’ll spearhead the execution of a 3-year investment plan geared towards modernizing our operations and enhancing efficiency through our Distribution Center expansion and automation initiatives. You’ll ensure that our logistics operations consistently uphold industry standards, cementing Browns’ position as a trailblazer in the field.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Lead the continuous improvement team, driving initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize processes within the Distribution Center and retail stores.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks in logistics processes.
• Manage special projects aimed at enhancing the overall performance of the logistics network, such as facility expansions and technology upgrades.
• Analyze data and metrics to identify improvement areas and monitor implemented initiatives’ success.
• Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of continuous improvement efforts and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Track emerging technologies in logistics and automation, evaluating their applicability to Browns Shoes’ operations and recommending implementation where beneficial.
• Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the Continuous Improvement team.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates on logistics initiatives, progress, and challenges.
