Description:

Are you an experienced GIS analyst? This is a great opportunity to use your specialist knowledge in a role that will give you the opportunity for career growth. You will be joining an SA Government emergency response team currently providing critical services to the state.
Job title: GIS Analyst
Contract: 6 months (opportunity for extension)
Start date: Immediate
Location: Adelaide CBD
The primary purpose of this role is to provide high quality geospatial outputs and solutions for the state government.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of asset data management databases and spatial mapping projects
  • Develop and maintain spatial information in a geographic information system
  • Spatial analysis including display of outcomes in a clear manner
  • Manage the delivery of spatial information to projects.

What you will need:

  • Relevant Degree or qualification in a spatial science or information technology discipline
  • Experience in a similar position within an asset environment and/or government department highly desirable
  • Experience in using ArcGIS Pro/ESRI suite essential
  • Good communication skills and an autonomous problem solver
