Responsibilities:

Include, but not limited to:

• Designing and developing GIS applications and solutions using various programming languages and tools.
• Integrating GIS functionality into existing systems and applications.
• Developing and maintaining GIS databases and data management systems.
• Analyzing and processing spatial data to generate insights and inform decision making.
• Creating and implementing geospatial analysis and visualization techniques.
• Developing and maintaining GIS based web and mobile applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for GIS applications and systems.
• Participating in the testing and debugging of GIS applications.
• Keeping up to date with new developments and technologies in the field of GIS

Requirements:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as React, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
• 3-4 years of experience with GIS software, such as ArcGIS.
• Depending on the specific needs of the organization, other requirements may also be necessary, such as experience with specific programming languages, frameworks, or tools.
• Needs to have a strong background in computer science and geospatial technologies.
• Should have experience with a variety of programming languages, such as Python and JavaScript, as well as knowledge of database management and spatial analysis tools.
• Familiarity with geospatial data formats, such as Shapefile and GeoJSON.
• Ability to develop and implement GIS solutions for a variety of applications, including web and Mobile Proficiency with mapping libraries.
• Knowledge of geospatial analysis techniques, including spatial data processing and visualization
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, geospatial technologies, or a related field.

Generic & Specific Skills:

• Shall be able to read, write and speak English language freely.
