Responsibilities:

Uniper creates a one-stop-shop for all geospatial related data and applications within the Renewables business. The GIS Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, growth, and success of GIS products within Uniper. He/She will lead a team of professionals in developing and executing innovative strategies to maximize the adoption, usage, and revenue generation of GIS software solutions with a focus on Renewables. The role will involve collaborating with key stakeholders, including senior management, wind & solar developers, engineers, commercial analysts as well as strategy & business development department to drive product innovation.

  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead a cross-functional team of ArcGIS Enteprise Manager, GIS Data Scientist/Engineer, and GIS experts to execute on product development initiatives
  • Product Strategy and Innovation: Define and communicate the strategic vision, goals, and roadmap for GIS solutions. Collaborate with Renewables stakeholders to prioritize features, enhancements, and initiatives based on business strategy and customer feedback
  • Product Lifecycle: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and deployment. Ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential areas for differentiation
  • Customer Engagement and Relationship Management: Engage with Renewables users, partners, and stakeholders to gather feedback, validate requirements, and prioritize feature requests
  • Product Marketing and Communication: Lead product launch activities, positioning, and drive product adoption and revenue growth
