About the Role

The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be responsible for providing passenger and baggage screening services at the airport. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team which builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Passenger & checked baggage screening
  • Manage traffic flow & screening at security checkpoints within the airport
  • Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Complete incident reports as required
  • Respond professionally, courteously and promptly to all stakeholder enquiries

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate II in Security Operations
  • Certificate II in Transport Security Protection
  • Aviation Training Qualification provided for suitable candidates – Certificate II Transport Security Protection
  • Currently hold a QLD Security Licence
  • Currently hold or willing to obtain an ASIC clearance
  • Must have full working rights in Australia
  • Ability to successfully pass a Drug & Alcohol screening
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
