• Our Glass Fabricator positions have a wage range of $19 - $22 per hour based on years of experience and a skills assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

  Our AdvanTec Manufacturing Canada facility is looking for an energetic Glass Fabricator to join our Glass Department at our facility in Chilliwack, BC.
  The Glass Fabricator is responsible for producing high quality glass for production jobs, this is achieved by getting glass ready for glazing; maintaining machinery; and off-loading glass deliveries.

Essential functions for this role are:

• Hand arris glass to prep for the oven
• Use the glass washer
• Buff scratches on glass with either a hand operated air gun or a glass buffing machine
• Maintain machinery or equipment as necessary
• Follow all Safety Protocols and work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records

If you have the following experience, qualifications and skills, we want to hear from you!

• Good communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Able to safely lift up to 50lbs
• Able to accurately read a tape measure
• Basic computer skills
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours
• Periodic exposure to cold & hot temperatures
• High school education or GED equivalent
• Forklift ticket an asset or willingness to train
