Job Title: (Glendale) Front Office Assistant for the 2025-2025 School Year
Location: Glendale
Job Type: Full-time, Contract
Salary Range: $30,000-40,000 per year

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience working in a K-12 office setting.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Computer proficiency, including basic software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs, etc.).
  • Valid (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Bilingual proficiency (written and verbal communication skills).
  • Experience working with PowerSchool.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing office tasks related to student data collection, parent-school communication, and student-office communication.
  • Greeting visitors and staff members warmly, addressing inquiries directly or referring them to appropriate staff members.
  • Answering phones with a pleasant demeanor and positive attitude, resolving issues at the front desk, and directing others to the appropriate staff members.
  • Organizing, maintaining, and updating student records, including collecting records from students’ previous schools and managing immunization records.
  • Performing clerical tasks related to student enrollment and withdrawal processes.
  • Coordinating student late arrivals and early departures, recording and reconciling these records with student attendance data.
  • Assisting with account receivables and school paperwork.
  • Coordinating supply orders for school/staff as needed.
  • Receiving deliveries, sorting and distributing incoming mail, and preparing outgoing mail.
  • Operating standard office equipment, including copy machines, fax machines, and computers, for copying, scanning, and faxing.
  • Supervising individual students and/or groups of students when necessary.
  • Maintaining employee and department directories.
  • Performing other duties as assigned
