Description:

Responsible for managing and developing long-term relationships within a portfolio of assigned Global Accounts to ensure the timely and successful delivery of company solutions according to client needs. Generating new business and growing existing accounts in all lines of business including service and installation solutions for new and/or existing customers. Prospects and develops new client relationships within a defined portfolio or vertical and in line with Convergint’s identified priorities. Develops and increases Key Account relationships to drive increased market share and sales opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field desirable
  • Minimum of two years of previous account development, sales or relevant experience preferred
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: electronic, IT, Communications, AV and/or building automation
  • Previous experience in engineering or field services experience preferred
  • Private Security Individual Registration, WHS White Card, Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary contact point and build long-term relationships with assigned clients. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, client stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Assists with the execution and review of all scope of work, terms and conditions in customer contracts including cost control, delivery fulfilment, and quality of service and other customer requirements as they arise; ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions through invoicing and cash collection according to client needs and objectives.
  • Assists with the preparation and delivery of RFP responses, proposals and presentations; includes translating customer needs/requirements into detailed proposals and project plans to meet Customer requirements; reviews and approves estimated costs before bid; change controls
  • Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate via project handover process project requirements and budget to the project team and wider organization as and when required.
  • Assist in identifying potential project risks and develop/implement strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
  • Proactively communicates project schedules, project change proposals and related project activities regularly with customers and seeks to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
  • Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to set client base
  • Responsible for working with the Sales and Service team to onboard and integrate new clients and develop existing client relationships
