About the role
Do you want to be in the top league of Supply Chain ?? Attracting major potential accounts for DFDS Group.
DFDS is one of the largest asset owing Logistics companies in Europe with an extended network in shipping, land based transport & logistics and contract logistics. We are frontrunner by offering Green solution reducing CO2 emission in supply chains.
You will be responsible for developing and securing business for DFDS industry enterprise and strategic customers within our global industry sales team.
In line with the business strategy and defined targets, your focus will be on attracting and selling supply chain solutions to potential major accounts.
You will be surrounded a wider team working with Strategy, Business Development, Global and local Account Management, Commercial Excellence and Marketing, covering a broad range of expertise to drive the business forward and support our customers as well as our colleagues in the DFDS Group.
Global Business development Manager is a senior position.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the European market.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and targets;
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with the clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive activities, and potential growth areas.
  • Build a strong and solid sales pipeline.
  • Prepare sales reports (through CRM system ) providing regular updates to senior management;
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote company services and generate leads.
