QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as an Operational Excellence Leader or in a similar role, driving process improvement initiatives and implementing Lean methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in Lean methodologies, tools, and concepts ( value stream mapping, waste reduction, statistical analysis, etc.).
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and managing complex process improvement projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, including tracking progress to achieve desired outcomes within defined timelines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Change management expertise, with the ability to navigate through resistance, foster collaboration, and drive organizational change.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning, and task delegation with tight deadline
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities:

The Global Benefits operational excellence leader have global oversight of GE Vernova benefits programs across GE Vernova and is responsible for ensuring the benefits operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
The Global Benefits operational excellence leader will be expected to provide guidance on how to implement new processes and systems, as well as helping to ensure that existing ones are running smoothly. They will create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all areas within Benefits and own the global governance.
The role will be expected to learn and adopt a LEAN mindset, engaging with GE Vernova colleagues to optimize processes and drive efficiency across the organization.
Continuous improvement skills are essential for the role to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to implement those improvements.
This role will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising the benefits processes, and operational model with an eye on creating a framework for process optimisation.
The role will lead on proactively identifying complex problems that impact the benefits organization , execute on critical change management initiatives, track, measure and report on costs and benefits.
The Global Benefits operational excellence leader will also be expected to partner very closely with all regional benefits leaders and other members of the GE Vernova Total Rewards team. In addition, they should build and maintain relationships with colleagues in key functions within GE Vernova such as Finance, Legal, Tax, Sourcing and People Operations. The individual must have a proven track record of creating and managing stakeholders, including internal and external fiduciaries, regulators, vendors, and social partner representatives.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct process assessments, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  • Analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement streamlined and standardised procedures across the benefits organization.
  • Own Global Vendor strategy and management . Identify, engage and manage appropriately key external vendors.
  • Continuously research and contribute to market data and industry trends within benefits to ensure accurate and up to date benchmark data is available
  • Build and own global benefits governance and ensure compliance
  • Manage company´s participation in market benefits surveys/benchmarking analysis.
  • Create and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and productivity in alignment with company goals and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with various departments including people operations, finance, sourcing , HR to drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure seamless operations.
  • Apply Lean methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce defects, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables for process improvement projects.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to analyse operational performance, track progress, and recommend targeted improvements.
  • Lead change management efforts by effectively communicating the need for change, addressing resistance, and ensuring successful implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices to drive efficiency and consistency across the organization.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging practices, and new technologies related to operational excellence, and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Implement robust and value stream focused standard work
  • Keep up to date on use of new tools, metrics, and processes that can potentially enhance business performance and productivity
  • Support global Total Rewards, HR, and GE Vernova Strategic Initiatives as needed
  • Support M&A, global Share programs and Market Intelligence
  • Drive LEAN, Standard Operating Procedures and process excellence.
  • Support the Design and implementation of new pension and benefit programs to meet business needs
