As a GBC you play a pivotal role in ensuring our sales and account management teams understand business policies, order processing, credits, procedures and assists in problem solving all issues. This will be a role that will evolve, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow and evolve too!
The Global Business Consultant role for Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) / KSA (Key Strategic Accounts) is the global lead for all operational matters for our largest accounts. This individual would partner closely with the Global Strategic Relationship Director (GSRD) or Global Business Director (GBD) and the Global Customer Technology Director (GCTD) on all matters related to the assigned accounts. Below are several of the key functions performed by this role.
Provides support to the Sales organisation on general sales-related matters, business policy and procedural issues as well as the development of new tools used by the sales organisation.

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Serves as a primary resource for sales consultants, account managers and sales management to understand content/product offerings, business policies, commissions, promotions, incentives and procedures for all pre-sale issues
  • Develops data /content and recommendations for all exceptions to present to the exception committee and conducts monthly and ad-hoc operation reporting analysis
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement culture by identifying and implementing innovative solutions
  • When necessary and appropriate, communicates pricing and product information to customers directly
  • Monitors data, and provides analysis to illustrate sales trends, identify weaknesses in current sales execution and support future sales strategy
  • Runs the coordination and investigation of order processing activities, fulfilment, compensation and other requests during and at the end of the month
  • Implement effective communication plans and operating rhythm with global teams
  • Partner with Commercial Policy and Legal teams to ensure that partnership agreements and special deals comply with LSEG terms & conditions
  • Build trusting relationships with key stakeholders both with the customer and within LSEG
  • Consults with management on the effect of policies and procedures on business goals and assists in developing and implementing policy and procedure

  • Outstanding organisation skills with demonstrable experience in customer support and business administration
  • A passion for problem-solving and a strong analytical mind
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Collaborative and proactive, the ability to have a forward thinking approach
  • Able to prioritise and manage time efficiently and optimally
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
