NOT A PERFECT FIT?

Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly? At Vodafone we are passionate about Inclusion for All and creating a workplace where everyone can thrive, whatever their personal or professional background. If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align exactly with every part of the job description, we encourage you to apply as you may be the right candidate for this role or another role, and our recruitment team can help you see how your skills fit in.

Responsibilities:

As a Procurement Manager of Content Business Intelligence, you will be working as part of a central content procurement team, reporting to a Principal Global Category Manager.
Your two primary responsibilities will be firstly, the responsibility for data, business intelligence, and automation from A to Z across content procurement and secondly, to carry out negotiations with content providers, actively and as part of the team.
As part of the team, you will co-manage Vodafone’s content acquisition globally. Working with the Luxembourg team and with Vodafone’s business stakeholders you will identify commercially relevant data requirements and data sources both internally and externally. One focus of the role will be to improve and expand internal business intelligence capabilities that will help the team deliver better commercial outcomes in their deals. This will involve the evaluation of specific commercial deals as well as value assessment and benchmarking in relation to existing agreements with the aim of providing data-based strategies to optimize negotiations.
As part of your role, you will also help identify areas of opportunity for digitization and automation across the end-to-end content management value chain in Vodafone and work on realizing those opportunities. This will be performed in close collaboration with our SCM Analytics Team, and local content, and SCM teams, working as a large cross-functional virtual team led by the VPC.
A further focus of the role will be to carry out negotiations with content providers, both alone and as part of a team. This will involve contributing to the refinement and implementation of our centralized content acquisition (sourcing) strategy that supports the global and local content business strategy while leveraging Vodafone’s global scale to maximize commercial benefits for our local markets. The successful candidate will manage commercial relationships and contracts with our content providers astutely, identify new content sources, secure new rights, and manage complex content contract negotiations competently.
The role holder will be challenged to operate efficiently across a complex stakeholder landscape and competing priorities and will be world-class in project management. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing Content acquisition projects on an international level.
