To help achieve this, we’re looking for a Global Category Manager in Human Resources to lead the development and implementation of the strategic category plan, delivery of all key initiatives in partnership with Senior Human Resources Stakeholders and business objectives within HR.
This role requires proactive strategic leadership to collaborate with all stakeholders, bringing together functional and corporate objectives into one aligned direction of travel.
The Global Category Manager will have responsibility for supplier engagement activities associated with the Human Resources category, as well as the development and deployment of Category specific supplier performance and innovation activities.

What will you be doing?

  • Developing and communicate Global Category Strategy.
  • Achieving Category targets, as well as contributing to the Global Category Lead’s objective setting.
  • Leading projects and ensuring regional implementations aligned with Category strategy.
  • Implementation and execution of Supplier Relationship Management activities
  • Identifying and handle key supplier risks.
  • Creating additional value from current relationships.
  • Driving the S&N innovation agenda with suppliers.
  • Forming strong relationships with the Sourcing and contracting team to ensure all sourcing activity is coordinated in line with category strategy and stakeholder expectations.

What does success look like?
The successful person will have a strong background in a procurement related role, with proven experience of category management, stakeholder management and supplier performance management. A qualification in Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) would also be helpful, however not crucial.
