pladis is undergoing an exciting transition globally developing and executing exciting new plans to transform the biscuit and snacking category and drive accelerated growth through our portfolio of much-loved brands. The Global Consumer Insights agenda is critical to this transformation as s/he will be responsible for executing the global insights agenda in collaboration with the global insights director and the local insights leads to help change the pladis culture from Brand and Product centric to Consumer centric.
This role is instrumental in building a collaborative, agile, capable and connected Consumer Insights driven network through deployment of a global strategy to improve Consumer Insights capability, allowing pladis to predict and respond to consumer trends quickly, effectively and accurately.

The Global Consumer Insights Manager will report directly into the Global Consumer Insights Director.

  • Lead the effort to generate deep understanding of today’s consumer & market and build powerful foresights to anticipate future demand and drive optimal category, portfolio and brand strategies.
  • Drive pladis consumer-centricity by playing a key executional role in the Demand Centric Growth (‘Demand Spaces’) initiative to provide an advantaged framework of macro-snacking consumer demand in key pladis markets and ensure that knowledge is instrumental in setting strategic portfolio & innovation choices and is driven through to impactful activation / in-store execution.
  • Lead the global innovation insights projects in collaboration with global marketing and R&D teams. Lead role in qualifying innovations for savory expansions, new market expansions and Godiva
  • Build outstanding relationships with Regional Insights leaders and by consistently driving and displaying a ‘One pladis’ culture and mindset. Build strong agency partnership relationships, enhancing the value that Pladis gets from its agency partners
  • Co-lead the function capability agenda in collaboration with agency partners under the Pladis academy umbrella
  • Key personal attributes & functional expertise:
  • Relationship builder, project management, demand segmentation, innovation testing, communication testing, digital insights, brand equity tracking
  • Key internal relationships:
  • Global: Chief Insights Officer, Global Marketing CMO & directors, Global R&D directors
  • Regional: CMO’s, R&D, Insights
  • Key external relationships:
  • Leads and manages relationships with relevant data and Insight partners
