  • 5+ years of post-graduate experience in employee relations with a global focus
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s)

ABOUT THE ROLE

FTI Consulting’s Corporate functions provide support to our client service professionals, so they are able meet and exceed the needs of our clients. Professionals within our Marketing and Communications, Information Technology, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Office Infrastructure, Legal, and Real Estate teams are dedicated to working together and delivering world class support across our global community.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to join our global team as the Global Employee Relations Senior Manager. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing employee relations initiatives across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of global employment laws, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to fostering positive employee relations. The Senior Manager, Global Employee Relations will work under the general direction of the Vice President of Talent, Diversity & Inclusion to implement, and administer company-wide Employee Relations practices and programs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work with VP of Talent, Diversity, and Inclusion to develop and implement a comprehensive global employee relations strategy aligned with the organization’s values and goals
  • Ensure consistency in employee relations practices across different regions and countries
  • Proactively identify and address trends in workplace conflicts and employee relations issues and recommend strategies to address them
  • Collaborate with HR partners and business leaders to find effective and timely resolutions to issues
  • Conduct thorough global investigations into employee relations matters, including allegations of discrimination, harassment, and policy violations
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and make recommendations on corrective action
  • Process, track, and file routine documentation of Employee Relations issues
  • Review and update employee relations policies to ensure compliance with global employment laws and regulations
  • Provide guidance on best practices and ensure consistency in policy application
  • Process involuntary terminations in conjunction with the HR Service Center
  • Administer employment related training to management team
  • Create and manage FTI’s online harassment training program
  • Process Affirmative Action Program (AAP) and Federal Regulatory Reporting Requirements (EEO1, VETS4212)
  • Manage regulatory audits to completion
  • Oversee continuous updates to the Global Employee Handbook and country addendums ensuring compliance with statutory requirements in each jurisdiction
  • Partner with HR Service Center to ensure compliance with federal and state poster requirements nationwide
  • Partner with HR Service Center in handling unemployment claims
  • Partner with L&D and diversity team to review, update and ensure timely completion of internal diversity training classes
