Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business or Human Resources Management/Social Studies. MA/MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years minimum of Global Talent Acquisition COE/Recruiting Management and Leadership experience.
  • Biotech / Pharma industry experience across multiple regions
  • Track record of developing effective strategies to recruit and hire employees through effective sourcing and evaluation processes. Ability to design and manage processes with appropriate degrees of consistency for a global business in a fast-growing pace.
  • Experience working in matrix organizational structure.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and working with executives.
  • Agile, out-of-the-box thinker, creative and analytical mindset.
  • Understand and generate an end-to-end great candidate experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global business with an understanding of cross-cultural differences.
  • Deep knowledge of global recruitment strategies and branding.
  • Demonstrated project leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • The position requires business travels

Responsibilities:
Medison is looking for an exceptional Global Head of Talent Acquisition (TA) who can bring a strong global background in biotech / pharma, experience in setting recruitment strategies, shaping policy, building infrastructure and guiding HRBPs and leaders, to meet Medison’s culture and fast-growing global operation and expansion.
This critical role will enable Medison’s growth and expansion to meet its ambitious business goals.
This position will have a global scope, working with Talent Acquisition and HR Professionals located in Medison’s sites globally.
It is the Global Head TA’s role to craft effective strategies while also being personally responsible for the execution of TA processes including executive recruitment and agencies globally.
The Global Head Talent Acquisition should possess strong business knowledge, and project management experience, exhibit strong communication skills, understand the distinctions of recruiting across traditional and digital channels, and have strong leadership skills to proficiently and cost-effectively assure a high-calibre workforce that will support Medison’s business and future growth objectives. The global talent acquisition manager will report to the Chief People Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead Global Talent Acquisition strategy and operations throughout the business.
  • Provide leadership for the evolution of talent acquisition technology, recruiting approaches, hiring tools, and partnership with HR and business functions.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage recruitment agencies and retained/contingency search firms. Assess and measure effectiveness and ensure compliance with negotiated agreements.
  • Manage the pre-employment process for any new hires (assessments, applications, offer letters, background checks where relevant, etc.)
  • Develop and cultivate strong relationships with business leaders across a range of disciplines and geographies to source, identify and recruit top candidates for immediate and growth needs.
  • Consult and advise hiring managers throughout the recruiting and selection processes, providing assistance and expertise that results in quality and timely hires.
  • Provide input to the development and deployment of a compelling employment brand through multiple channels, including the strategic use of social media. Develop initiatives leveraging digital marketing to deliver a superior talent acquisition brand.
  • Manage directly or in a matrix structure and develop talent acquisition capability within the organization by hiring, training, and mentoring team members within a global, fast-paced, distributed, high-growth environment.
