The Global Head Strategic Program Management will be responsible for IT Infrastructure Project Portfolio activities through coordination with Program Managers, IT Infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of our dynamic and innovative Technology team and to build something new from scratch.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Leading the effective program delivery of IT Infrastructure Projects
• Owning multiple programs and reconciling the interdependencies including delivery for Technical Operations, Product Development and Corporate Functions
• Providing technical and business guidance, review and oversight of programs, and serving as an escalation point to ensure the program managers and external vendor teams deliver application and infrastructure projects on time, on budget, with first time quality and adherence to stated business requirements.
• Maintaining an active level of awareness on program status, risks, and issues for all IT Infrastructure Projects.
• Maintains a strong knowledge of and relationship with IT Infrastructure leadership and understands their challenges, working style, and operational requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring Enterprise projects following Sandoz standard project development methodology (agile and waterfall) and that the project conforms to Sandoz defined standards for security and technical architecture.
• Manage a team of Program Managers ensuring timely and effective delivery of Programs.

• IT Project Management Practices (Agile and Waterfall)
• Compliance, Risk Management (GxP: sound knowledge of validation practice and IT control standards
• Dev-Ops mindset and full solution lifecycle understanding from idea to retirement
• Superior reasoning and decision-making skills
• Documented experience working across IT Teams
• Proven ability to establish and maintain strong long-term relationships, communications and interact professionally with a diverse group of Executives, Managers, and Subject Matter Experts in IT
• Customer and service first attitude

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

10 years of IT experience in system management
More than 10 years of experience in Project Management across geographies and business areas, preferably Pharmaceutical or Banking Industry
Track record in delivering multinational projects on time, quality, and budget
Experience in negotiating agreements with corporate suppliers in close co-operation with the sourcing function
10 years experience in managing managers
