About the role
In this role, you will serve as the Global HR Business Partner for the Business Group Bipolar Discretes of Nexperia. You will collaborate with domestic and international business leaders and colleagues to execute innovative and business relevant HR strategies and programs to ensure the client groups have the necessary skilled resources to meet Nexperia’s business goals and outgrow the market.
What you will do

In this position you will have responsibility for translating the Business and HR strategies into an executable HR agenda then work with HR colleagues and senior business leaders to ensure the HR practices and processes enable business creation and the achievement of the Business Group and company goals.

  • Partner with the General Manager Business Group Bipolar Discretes and the leadership team on all matters relating to people, organization structure and leadership
  • Own and drive the talent management initiatives (Succession planning, Performance management, Employee development, retention)
  • Proactively ensures the right level resources with the necessary skills set are identified, screened, selected and recruited to join Nexperia
  • Own, manage and accurately report workforce planning for the assigned businesses
  • Proactively execute transformation and change within the assigned businesses
  • Leverage metrics and analytics to drive fact based decisions
  • Initiates and leads discussions on HR policies and procedures improvement to ensure that they are up to date, business enabling practices
  • Proactively stays informed of human resources trends and tendencies and how these can benefit the organization

What you will need

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources Administration or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent work experience
  • 5+ year’s progressive Human Resources experience within a Multi-National Company (MNC) and Industrial environment
  • Proven success in effectively influencing leaders at all levels
  • Advanced level skills with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Workday HRIS experience a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities
  • The ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team, and is confident in managing relationships at all levels
  • Operational efficient, strategically credible and they carry themselves as a highly competent, trustworthy individual
  • Able to predict and respond to the needs of the businesses you support.
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Knows when to push back and does it in a way that promotes resolution and reduces conflict
  • A pragmatic, results orientated individual with a collaborative approach to providing business enabling HR solutions
  • Strong influencing skills. Can take the lead in discussions, seeds ideas and cultivates and pursues opportunities that are in the best interests of the company
  • At ease within a matrix management environment and able to effectively manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to ‘think on their feet’, work under pressure and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Flexible, adapts plans easily when circumstances change. Is aware of cultural differences and adapts behavior accordingly
  • An energetic, “can do” approach
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and strong in hands-on role
  • Adaptive, able to adapt plans, strategies and processes in ways suited to the needs of the business while promoting consistency
  • Driven, relentless pursuit of progress and achievement of goals
