Description:
Stantec have a great opportunity for a Global Learning & Organizational Development Director to join our passionate, collaborative, and results-driven team. As part of the HR Talent Services team of subject matter experts focused on the employee experience, the Global Learning & Organizational Development Director will lead the virtual team through design, implementation, communication and administration of Stantec’s talent strategies.
This is an opportunity to oversee the design and delivery of global talent programs that support an inclusive employee experience from beginning to end - from talent identification, assessment, segmentation, performance, learning, development, and succession planning.
A key part of your role will be to maintain a strong understanding of the business and structure to create solutions that are aligned with long-term business goals, sound philosophies, and frameworks. You will build relationships and collaborate with various levels of leadership and stakeholders to effectively develop and implement the learning and organizational development strategy. You will ensure talent solutions align to and enable a performance culture of accountability, excellence, growth, innovation, and inclusion, in which every employee brings their full self to work and is inspired to do their best work.
You will lead the performance management and career development processes as well as the design of talent segmentation and succession planning processes to understand organizational bench strength and identify talent pools, along with strategies to build and strengthen the leadership pipeline. You will design and execute engaging approaches to learning and set direction and manage instructional design and development processes.
You will oversee the continued implementation of a global career framework that enables career pathing, skill and competency development and oversee the optimization of the talent management system and related processes.
You will lead and develop a team of learning and organizational development subject matter experts and set key performance goals for team members for individual development and contribution to the organization’s success.
