This role will be contributing to the development, delivery and execution of a Learning & Development (L&D) agenda, content development and deployment of the learning curriculum and programs to drive knowledge and certification standards across 3.000+ consultants.
This position will be engaging and contributing to the success of the HSO Academy and it’s learning and development programs across the Microsoft Cloud (Business Applications, Data and AI, Digital and app innovation, Infrastructure, Security and Modern Work), while working to define and implement capability/knowledge standards globally. This position will maintain relationships with country L&D and HR.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong business acumen – ability to focus on priorities of greatest value
  • Good knowledge of the consulting industry, and ideally Microsoft curriculum and certifications
  • Good knowledge of L&D specialism strategies, trends, leading practices, services and solutions
  • Ability to participate effectively in virtual teams and networks across geographies
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with senior leadership
  • Strong teaming skills
  • Strong communication skills for sharing thought leadership across HSO and externally to enhance its reputation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail – experience to be responsible for a P&L or budget and delivering on scope and time
  • Good PPT/ XLS skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Higher professional or masters qualification

EXPERIENCE:

  • Significant experience, at least 7 to 10 years, in a closely related role bringing insights and experience of service design and content deployment and coordination of a Learning Function
  • Demonstrable experience of communicating and influencing people across multiple levels of an organization
  • Demonstrable experience of collaborating with HR or business colleagues to understand and interpret business issues and of successfully advising colleagues on the appropriate course of action
  • Strong experience of working effectively in globally dispersed teams to enhance services, frameworks, processes and standards
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a central team to manage networks and of sharing insights and best practices to help enhance service delivery and performance at a local level
  • Significant experience with technology to identify and create content delivered through the best and most effective channels

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Due to global nature of the role, travel and willingness to work alternative hours will be required
  • Due to the global nature of the role it is required excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • This is a full time position, we embrace hybrid working, preferred location is Amsterdam/Netherlands
  • HSO Academy is based in the Netherlands

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Learning and Development; develop, maintain and enforce standards, policies and processes
  • Provide support to global L&D organization and the HSO Academy
  • Be a business partner for discussions on best practices for onboarding, definitions of positions, career development, ways of working, performance standards
  • Deeply engaged with Microsoft and other external trends and best practices to maintain minimum knowledge standards across positions and consultants; i.e. innovate ways to optimize the efficiency of the service
  • Responsible to drive SL specific curriculums and knowledge standards into the countries, communicate processes and KPIs that will support effective country implementationTranslate inputs/needs from the (local) L&D organization into (global) action
