JOB DESCRIPTION

Skills Alliance are partnering with an exciting global pharmaceutical organisation specialising that are currently going through large scale changes and transformation projects across their Manufacturing & Global operations. This position will fit into the central Supply Chain centre of excellence and requires the individual to have a range of skills/experience across; project management, pharmaceuticals and cold-chain logistics.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Identify, propose, and implement critical parameters and KPIs driving logistics operations and processes.
  • Establish current logistics process standards and frameworks in collaboration with key supply chain stakeholders, aligning with industry best practices and future demand.
  • Support the development of logistics operational models through analysis, design, and implementation of end-to-end solutions aligned with business and Supply Chain strategy.
  • Manage the successful integration of new acquisitions/partners into various Supply Chain functions and provide accurate process mapping for new business.
  • Assess current state processes, define requirements/improvements through fact-based decision-making and analysis.
  • Support standardization, implement agreed-upon innovations and logistics process improvements, monitoring outcomes

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • University Bachelors Degree or equivalent. MBA or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in consultancy with link to pharmaceutical logistics, pharmaceutical industry or from logistic service provider
  • Experience in Supply Chain “deliver” positions, especially as a business expert in Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing & Distribution, Foreign Trade
  • Relevant experience in Logistics transformation projects including financial flow & regulatory compliance, cost optimization, 3PL management/outsourcing, order to cash process improvement, performance management or product launch (NPI)
  • Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS/ IBF) desirable
  • Desired experience in Pharma Logistics, with great focus on program and project management in cold chain, including coordination on system set up, primary and secondary distribution, customs compliance
  • Experience with ERP (SAP/SD/eWMS) , TMS as well as knowledge of latest real-time monitoring, order processing, warehousing technologies & systems
  • Fluent in English
  • German and further European languages beneficial
  • Ability to forge collaboration across all levels of the enterprise & externally.
  • Strong communicator with to communicate clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms.
    This is will be an initial 12 month contract (likely to extend or move to permanent), under a hybrid working model (X2 days per week onsite minimum) based on Aachen site. Rate between €400-€500 per day.
