At Sulzer, we’re seeking an experienced and visionary Global Marketing Manager, with a passion for driving global growth and innovation for our Flow Equipment Division. If you are excited by making the energy transition happen or ensuring clean water for millions resonates with you, then this position may be for you. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the driving force behind our marketing operations globally, planning and executing the strategy deployment across all regions, leading an international marketing team, providing focus and direction to ensure our marketing strategy is delivered within budget and with maximum impact.
This role can be based at any of our Sulzer facilities, ideally in Germany, other locations would also be considered.

Responsibilities:

YOUR MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute regional marketing strategies and plans in partnership with sales
  • Work closely with digital marketing and segment content teams to develop and deploy global campaigns
  • Leading and developing a truly international network of marketing professionals
  • Planning and managing the execution of over 150 events and exhibitions per year with your team
  • Act as a hands-on regional marketing manager for the EMEA north region overseeing a team of marketing and sales support professionals
  • Create, standardize and deploy processes, define metrics to measure the return on investment of planned marketing activities globally

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • A proven track record in delivering global marketing campaigns, with 5 years in a leadership position
  • Demonstrable experience in managing international tradeshows and B2B campaigns
  • Ideally experience within a global industrial engineering environment
  • To be an inspiring, hands-on leader, mentoring talent and building a high performing team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-oriented approach and strong analytical skills
  • Enthusiastic, resilient, and empathetic team player with a hands-on attitude and willingness to travel internationally.
