We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Mobility Operations Manager to join our operations. This position will be for an ambitious professional to help shape and mould policies, procedures, and framework. Given the nature of the work, French language capability is a requirement for the role. Apart from France, we are open to have the position based at some of our other European locations also - Netherlands, United Kingdom, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Hungary.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree qualified in human resources or other relevant subject
  • Experience in managing international mobility assignments within a global, corporate environment
  • Experience working with a Global Employment Company
  • Sound understanding of the end-to-end mobility process from role identification through to assignment end and what makes mobility programs successful for all stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of international mobility topics and processes including an understanding of immigration, social security and tax implications of cross border movement, particularly in the EU
  • Understanding of Swiss social security and insurance programs is a plus
  • Compensation experience is a plus
  • French language skills at a minimum of B2 (intermediate) level is essential

KEY SKILLS AND TOOLS:

  • Understanding of Global Employment Company structure and purpose
  • Strong MS Office skills with advanced Excel knowledge
  • Experience working with Global Mobility technology tools e.g. Assignment Pro
  • Knowledge of HCM system, Workday experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, in English, the working language of the organization and French

Responsibilities:

  • Manage NGM Direct-Hire population including acting as Nissan point of contact for this specific international assignee population and issue offers/contracts in partnership with Global Executive Compensation team
  • Verify and validate assignment package preparation, contract details and payroll test results and closing
  • Coordinate annual benefits review / renewal (internal + broker) including invoicing
  • Validate NGM payroll on monthly basis as prepared by external operations vendor and prepare a summary for approvals
  • Validate incoming invoices and executed actions and pre-validate invoice payment
  • Manage NGM receivables - from vendor to payment and follow up with Nissan entities
  • Regularly review operations vendor KPIs to ensure compliance with service agreement
  • Manage service escalations / service remediation plans in partnership with operations vendor
  • Coordinate twice-yearly service review meeting between NGM and operations vendor
  • Prepare information for twice-annual internal NGM SteerCo
  • Act as Secretary in Service Review Meetings and internal NGM SteerCo meetings
  • Act as point of contact for NGM and external parties (Swiss Social Security, Insurances, Tax requirements)
  • Ensure legal compliance, including corporate tax, social security and immigration matters associated with international assignment processes.
