Our Integrated Operations organization is now taking the next step in establishing a reliable and cost-efficient supply chain by creating a global planning function. This function will handle all aspects of planning, from the long-term Sales & Operations Planning to the mid- and near-term material planning, inventory management and production planning.
Therefor we are now looking for an analytical and data-savvy Global Planner to join our team!
This role is based in Mölnlycke, Sweden and will report to the Global Planning Manager.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS JOB, WE BELIEVE THAT YOU POSSESS THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS.

  • University degree or solid (5 years+) professional experience within planning, logistics or equivalent
  • ERP skills (JDE experience is an extra merit) in planning, sales, distribution, production, purchasing, warehousing.
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of planning – from a business, process, and system perspective.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to participate in driving change – from a people, knowledge, and process perspective.
  • Self-drive and autonomy of working to achieve set targets.
  • Work together with strategic procurement, engineering, marketing, purchasing and customer service to ensure we uphold our delivery promise and lead times to our customer while minimizing inventories.
  • Solid understanding of lean principles.
  • Excellent communications- and pedagogic skills to be able to communicate both internally and externally as well as with various functions across the company and external partner.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities:

  • Minimize the inventories needed to meet set delivery targets.
  • Adhere to, maintain and safeguard the processes used for availability and inventory management. These processes are Sales & Operations Planning, Production Planning, Material Planning (Inventory management) and Production scheduling.
  • Participate in implementing the system solutions used to support the above processes.
  • Meeting KPI targets for the function.
  • Participating in improvement initiatives relating to planning – from a business, process, and system perspective.
  • Work together with sourcing, product- and technical product management to ensure availability and inventory balance throughout the life cycle of a product/item.
  • Ensure that proper master data parameters are set and updated in the system.
  • Information-sharing and training of related functions, e.g. sales, distribution, production, warehousing, sourcing, purchasing or finance on the business impact planning and inventory management has on a company’s financial results.
  • Be a back-up for the Global Planning Manager.
