ABOUT THE ROLE

As our new global PR Manager, you’re in the driving seat to define and further develop our PR strategy to empower the voice of TMF Group on a global level. You make our brand shine through a range of focused PR projects. Think of TMF Group’s annual and ESG report, our Global Business Complexity campaign, and other cross-services and regions marketing activities, PR campaigns and press releases.
But there will be so much more: you’ll be creating a strategy to elaborate on a wide range of topics related to TMF Group’s industry for various audiences and across different channels.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As global PR Manager you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the day-to-day tools of the PR team, including media lists, handling media relations, Q&As, briefing documents, editorial calendars, and budgets. You’ll make a meaningful contribution to our public relations and thought leadership program by writing press releases, opinion pieces, commentary, and award submissions. You identify press opportunities through research, including trends, publications, timely themes and insights.

• Owning TMF Group’s PR strategy internally and externally;
• Creating PR messaging and campaigns around topics that resonate within our industry;
• Securing placements in top-tier and industry/trade publications, and building strong relationships with journalists and industry influencers;
• Managing crisis situations and coordinating with the legal team, plus acting as a reactive spokesperson;
• Team leader and first point of contact for currently 1 Senior Executive Corporate Communications and additional third-party support agencies;
• Working closely with the broader marketing, commercial and business teams on projects and activities;
• Working closely with internal stakeholders – our Board, Finance department, Country and Business management, and Legal – on messaging and alignment with business priorities;
• Monitoring media coverage, analyzing and communicating PR results to senior leadership;
• Organizing media trainings for internal spokespersons and experts.

The role will ideally be based in either Amsterdam or London, however with team members and key stakeholders in other TMF Group locations, we’re flexible on the location. The role will directly report into the CMO. Some traveling will be required.
