Description:

THE CHALLENGE

As part of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energy from Siemens, The Global Process Owner for Workforce Administration will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing all aspects of workforce administration processes across our global operations. We are looking for a Global Process Owner for Workforce Administration to drive standardization and continuous improvement within the HR Services processes, guaranteeing fit-for-purpose & efficient / lean processes, working with a team of highly qualified HR Services Leaders and internal and external partners. This senior role is key to HR Operations as well as Siemens Energy as a global payer with 97,000 employees in 90+ countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of workforce administration processes, policies, and procedures and respective controls.
  • Work closely and drive a small team of Global Process Service Owners across all aspects of HR Services
  • Support the Global Head of HR Services and our Regional HR Services Leads in guaranteeing Workforce Administration policies, standards and rules are aligned with the overall company and HR strategy.
  • Be the key point of contact for our Standardization & Harmonization team for Workforce Administration process design.
  • Define key focus areas for improvement in Workforce Administration processes across countries and regions.
  • Support regional teams in global process deviations identification and gap solutioning.
  • Support global HR Services projects.
  • Lead operational excellence and continuous improvement activities.
  • Establish global standards for workforce administration processes and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Act as process expert in various Workforce Administration initiatives and enhance the effectiveness of tools and supporting processes to drive continuous improvement and change initiatives by defining and supervising key performance indicators.
  • Support the definition of global principles and standards for HR Services and guarantee consistency across the regions and including efforts towards global process standardization while allowing local flexibility when required.
  • Guarantee audit readiness across all the regions, be responsible for the timely closure of internal audit related issues, and pro-actively share best practices, issues, risks, etc.
  • Collaborate with and request feedback from internal and external business partners and other functions and process owners across the organization to ensure processes, roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and followed and HR operations run successfully.
