We seek an experienced full-time Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager with high integrity and professionalism who can join our team in the San Francisco area. As the GSOC Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the client’s GSOC build out, functionality and day to day operations, reports, and management of GSOC operators. On a daily basis, you will work under the supervision of the Program Manager to ensure timely deliveries and distributions of counselings, reports, time cards. You will provide analysis and recommendations to improve efficiencies by identifying, amongst other things, factors that can reduce the effectiveness of client processes and internal and external communications to the organization.
Your overall responsibilities will include but are not limited to supporting the physical security operations and programs across our clients global portfolio. You will help build and then manage the client’s Security Operations Center (SOC) and help develop and oversee the expansion of SOC capabilities. You will manage physical security access control, credentialing and CCTV (AC3) programs. This is not a remote role and requires the ability to work daily on site at the client’s South San Francisco office. Additionally, you will develop and maintain relationships with internal operational leads, HR, and supporting administration staff. In addition to your regular duties, this position requires advanced knowledge of the system Genetec, we desire you to be knowledgeable and up to date with all matters regarding this platform. The GSOC manager will demonstrate excellent professionalism in interacting with corporate leadership, Surefox personnel, and clients. Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of day-to-day physical security and AC3 operations across multiple sites.
- Serve as the lead administrator for clients AC3 platform, Genetec.
- Serve as the first point of contact supporting a 24/7/365 security call center environment.
- Dispatch and monitor the security guard force to support safety and security operations.
- Manage GSOC functions during incident response.
- Develop the framework for GSOC expansion, to include creating new protocols, response plans, training plans and other tasks as required.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of AC3 systems and programs, such as creation and issuance of credentials, CCTV review, and system troubleshooting.
- Manage urgent requests and issues related to malfunctioning equipment, such as cameras, badge readers and badge printers.
- Investigate and resolve trouble alarms.
- Manage security systems repair vendors and integrators when needed.
- Continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide client leads with the information they need to make critical decisions.
- Build partnerships with local law enforcement and first responders.
- Assist with creating and maintaining programmatic tools, such as an emergency notification system.
- Other related duties as required.
