This role will involve strategy, planning, management and execution to maintain and build Binance’s social media and community presence globally. You will work closely with the leadership team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Native or fluent English language is a must
  • 10+ years of digital marketing experience in social media, community, content or brand marketing related roles, with 5+ years of successfully managing medium-sized marketing teams
  • Experience working on large integrated marketing campaigns, and working with external agencies, partners and talent
  • Demonstrable success with growing social media accounts and executing campaigns
  • Deep understanding of the crypto market. Up to date with trends and sentiment. Expert on Binance’s product suite
  • Strong knowledge of content creation and social media channels, with Twitter and TikTok as a top priority
  • Proven good judgment in high pressure situations; an ability to remain calm and logical
  • Excellent communication, writing and copywriting skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility. Resistant to stress. Self motivated and results oriented
  • Remote and start-up experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of ~10 remote workers distributed around the world. Create and own quarterly team and individual KPIs and OKRs
  • Oversee and improve the content strategy for all global social media channels, including Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, and the growth strategy for global Telegram and Discord community channels
  • Manage agency and partner relationships. Propose and execute plans to onboard additional partners and creators to level up Binance’s social presence
  • Plan and manage bi-annual budgets for the social and community teams
  • Contribute to the strategy and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and product launches, and design and execute large community activation campaigns
  • Create and manage always on content strategies for our priority global partnerships such as CR7
  • Consult on marketing strategy and social optimization opportunities for various marketing and business initiatives such as global events, KOL engagements, new product lines and communication plans
  • Work closely with the PR and communications team to sync content schedules, align on messaging and ensure social content is complementing our comms strategies
  • Be responsible for leadership social media strategy and output, and contribute towards our executive visibility approach, including for the CEO, CMO and other executives
  • In close coordination with Global Communications, lead or play a key role in crisis, issue and disaster management and communication, including fast, measured and informed response, sentiment monitoring and reporting, and consulting on further action
  • Oversee the management of the Binance Angels, our ~500 person volunteer program, to maintain and boost Angel satisfaction and engagement through benefits, events, trainings, team buildings and other proactive initiatives
  • Manage and improve Binance’s social media and community data and attribution pipeline and tool stack. Report on performance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Collaborate with regional marketing leads to guide and improve regional social, community and Angel presence
  • Create and maintain processes, trainings and playbooks to ensure the smooth operation and growth of the social and community team
