Responsibilities:

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Knowledge on IATF PPAP 4th
  • Knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems requirements- ISO 9001 or similar (IATF 16949, AS 9001).
  • Solid experience in one or more core manufacturing process technologies: chemicals, thermoplastics, rubbers, metals, electronics or soft goods.
  • Experience of building close working relationships internally and with suppliers
  • Experience in manufacturing, quality or supplier quality related activities.
  • Knowledge of laboratory test standards and methods.
  • Knowledge and experience using APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, understand and disseminate engineering information to the supply base.
  • Knowledge and experience with Lean tools such as: Value Stream Mapping, Takt Time, Capacity Verification, Kaizen & Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge and experience with quality and problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, Poka-Yoke, Ishikawa Diagrams, SPC, CAPA.
  • Knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and SharePoint.
  • Solid written & oral English (daily contact with international suppliers).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics or Materials.
  • Audit skills and/or experience- ISO 9001 or equivalent
  • This position is available at multiple career levels based on experience:
  • Level one (Staff I): Entry Level, no relevant experience
  • Level two (Staff II): 2 years quality, manufacturing or design engineering experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • CMM measurement equipment
  • Experience in a global/manufacturing multi-site organization
  • CAD SolidWorks drawing opening and basic visualization
  • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
  • Power BI
  • 001 Auditor Certification Six Sigma Green Belt
