As a member of AstraZeneca’s esteemed talent scouting team, the GTS will report to the Global Talent Scout & Capability Lead and play a pivotal role in developing strategic senior talent pools aligned with our business goals. This role involves collaborating with business and HR leaders to devise internal and external talent search strategies, making a lasting impact on AstraZeneca’s talent acquisition efforts.

  • Multilingual skills, proficiency in digital talent sourcing and management tools, understanding of drug development and commercialization, and experience in applying external search strategies for internal talent development.

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a strategic advisor for talent to business leaders and collaborating with HR to develop and execute talent and people strategies.
  • Designing and implementing a long-term external talent sourcing strategy, building and converting external talent pipelines for critical roles into successful hires.
  • Forecasting global talent needs for critical areas over a 1-3 year period and developing networks to maintain active talent pipelines.
  • Sharing talent insights across the business for global engagement and aligning external scouting with internal talent practices to ensure objective benchmarking.
  • Facilitating high-level discussions on external talent across business units and overseeing external succession planning for SET members.
