Description:
Overview:
Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for an GNSS Algorithms Engineer to join our organization focusing on network processing algorithms development, reporting to the Director of Positioning Services Algorithms. The network processing team is responsible for algorithms to process global and regional GNSS reference stations and modeling satellite as well as regional atmospheric errors for PPP and Network RTK services.
The Location: Hexagon is a global company with offices around the world. This position is based in Calgary, AB. We will consider remote work in Canada for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
As a GNSS Algorithms Engineer, responsibilities include:
- Work in small teams to research, develop, and enhance industry-leading network positioning algorithms
- Mentoring of junior members of the team to assist with developing solutions and problem solving
- Interface with marketing, product managers, and the systems team to create robust and complete requirements, architectural designs, ICDs, and design documentation
- Collaborate with verification designers to plan, execute tests, and develop automated test suites
- Analyze data using graphical and statistical tools to evaluate solutions and identify and investigate software defects
- Explore new advancements in positioning and find ways to incorporate them into our products and services
