Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Golf Shop Attendant provides exceptional customer service, handles transactions using a point-of-sale system, and maintains the appearance and organization of the shop.
Compensation: $15.35 per hour
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client’s property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client’s directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize them according to their level of importance
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in coordinating and promoting activities and events
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds
  • Walk and move throughout the community common areas and facilities
  • Stand for moderate periods of time

Responsibilities:

  • Greet members and guests in a courteous and friendly manner and provide exceptional guest service.
  • Communicate and respond by phone, email and in person regarding inquires, course conditions and special member events.
  • Tidy, dust and maintain the overall appearance of the Golf Shop.
  • Make sure all carts are put away in the proper staging areas and do a count to ensure all pull carts have been returned.
