Description:

Lime Recruitment is currently working with a Queensland government department to recruit a Governance and Compliance Officer contract to 30 June 2024 with possible extension based in the Brisbane CBD and working from home.
This role will align to RSDO to provide best practise governance to ensure compliance and support to the Project Manager and is responsible for oversight of governance and compliance within the Risk Remediation project.

In this role you will:

  • Assist with monitoring of activities and milestones across the project delivery. Tracking of deliverables across the work packages within the project.
  • Establish and maintain project artefact templates and maintain their currency.
  • Maintaining key program artefacts such as the master schedule, project governance documents etc.
  • Management of project registers such as risks, issues, decisions etc. Contribute to identifying and monitoring work package and project risks and issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of reporting and coordination of packs and submissions.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills, collating information and preparing documents to assist in achieving the project goals.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and effectiveness.

You will have:

  • Prince2® Project Management training or equivalent experience in a project environment.
  • Qualifications or experience in Agile Methodologies.
  • Previous experience working in government agencies would be advantageous.
