We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree is mandatory to obtain UAE Visa and Work Permit
  • Experience in governance and paper writing is required
  • A clear understanding of EMEA WPB business, experience within WPB business line, MENAT entity and Europe entity
  • Awareness of broad business issues in the Group and in the wider financial services industry
  • Strong communication, commercial awareness, and judgement
  • Experience interpreting data and presenting results in structured deliverables

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to concisely, accurately and effectively structure and communicate both content and message with limited guidance
  • Conscientious, with a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on accuracy and quality

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

Provide support to the EMEA WPB Chief of Staff Office to support the running and operations of WPB governance and reporting across the EMEA region. Role holder works closely with the Governance and Planning Lead EMEA WPB.

The role holder will help to support a range of governance and reporting activities across EMEA WPB region, contributing to the smooth running of the business. Recognising the complexity of governance in two distinct businesses, MENAT and Europe, this role will support a range of priorities across the entities, handling day-to-day tactical issues, including:

  • Creation and submission of WPB governance papers across the EMEA region
  • Preparation for minute taking and follow up from several executive and management committees.
  • Creation of executive briefing for internal and external meetings
  • Constructively challenge governance processes and quality of documents and briefing
  • Reporting requirements for both MENAT and Europe regulatory matters
  • Designing presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Preparation for key visits, events and communications e.g., WPB market visits, weekly executive committees, annual conferences, offsites, board meetings.
  • Assimilate large amounts of information from multiple sources and translate in a way to add value to desired business outcomes
  • Applying market insights to steer discussions and focus leadership attention in meetings
  • Deadline pressures – high quality and succinct output suitable for senior executives
