Description:

Contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust directorate and clinical governance framework. This includes the review and appropriate allocation of incidents to ensure robust reviews take place and appropriate learning is shared. Supporting the Directorate Management Team and core Governance Team in the implementation of the Directorate quality governance programme. Lead role in the ongoing development and delivery of the directorates patient experience and engagement plans and activities Support the Directorate team in effective and timely management of complaints, so that trajectories and targets are met on an on-going basis.
Contribute to meeting CQC regulation standards and supports staff in the preparation for Directorate inspections. Works with service leads to ensure that robust action plans are developed and implemented following the outcome of an external & internal visits, i.e. CQC inspection (or mock inspection).Work with the core Governance Team and Patient Safety Incident Investigation (PSII) investigators to facilitate the delivery of an effective Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) pathway for the Directorate. Acting as an Engagement Lead where required
