The Governance, Supplier Risk Management (SRM) & Sustainability Specialist is an exciting new opportunity within our Procurement team.
In this role you will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust governance frameworks (procurement policies, processes and templates), supplier risk management frameworks and sustainability initiatives (Responsible Sourcing, Human Rights, Reconciliation Action Plan, Climate Change Strategy) to create long-term value for Endeavour Group and our stakeholders.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Support the development and implementation of effective supplier risk management frameworks, processes and enablers to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate supplier-related risks to enhance business continuity and operational resilience.
  • Support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives (Responsible Sourcing, Human Rights, Reconciliation Action Plan, Climate Change Strategy), promoting environmentally responsible practices and ethical sourcing throughout the whole supply chain. Provide procurement-related support to other departments (e.g. Sustainability, Finance) to drive continuous improvement within these initiatives.
  • Lead reporting activity to demonstrate compliance to regulatory requirements and industry standards, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct within the procurement function.
  • Contribute to monitoring and reporting on key sustainability metrics (including scope 3 emissions), contributing to progress tracking and identifying areas for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into source to contract procurement processes (e.g. the Category Management Team, IT Commercial, Food Procurement and Pinnacle Supply Chain).

  • Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you:

  • Procurement or procurement-related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of responsible procurement, supplier risk management and procurement governance principles and processes, with an understanding of end to end procurement processes.
  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions, including proficiency with reporting tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving results and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proven capability to operate in, and support, a fast paced procurement environment requiring excellent time and work prioritisation skills
  • High attention to detail.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business / Commerce / Law or a related field, with any Sustainability / Risk experience being highly regarded but not essential.
