Description:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, Public Relations or related fields.
  • 1+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, regulatory affairs, or market analysis.
  • Experience in collaborating with government officials and industry stakeholders is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of regulatory processes, policy issues, and market analysis related to the business sector.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience in writing briefings, preparing presentations, and delivering them to various audiences.
  • Ability to assist in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience representing a company or organization in external meetings and public forums is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Support Strategy Development:

  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of strategies to support the company’s business priorities and public policy objectives.
  • Help align public policy initiatives with business goals to ensure a cohesive approach to government relations.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as a point of contact for government officials, industry stakeholders, and trade associations.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships with key government stakeholders throughout the region.
  • Support proactive engagement with stakeholders to build robust networks that advance the company’s policy and business interests.

Regulatory Advice and Policy Analysis:

  • Assist in providing timely and clear advice on regulatory developments and policy issues impacting the business in Singapore and the APAC region.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, assess their implications, and help communicate these to relevant internal teams.
  • Help develop position papers, regulatory submissions, and policy briefs.

Government and Regulatory Affairs:

  • Collaborate with government officials and respond to regulatory enquiries under supervision.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings, presentations, and reports for regulators, government officials, and industry associations.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the regulatory and public policy landscape.
  • Gather and analyze data on market conditions, competitive activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform strategy and decision-making processes.

Representation and Advocacy:

  • Represent the company at external meetings, industry forums, and public consultations under guidance.
  • Assist in advocating for the company’s interests in public and private sector discussions.
