We are seeking a skilled Government Relationship Specialist to join our team in Indonesia. You will be responsible for fostering positive relationships with various government bodies to ensure compliance, facilitate business operations, and advocate for our organization’s interests.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years of experience as a government affairs practitioner and/or other relevant experiences;
  • Sound knowledge of the workings of government, policies, legislation, and exceptional political nous, and its nuances in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, especially policy/legal issues concerning mobility tech trends, transportation ecosystem, and other disruptive innovations;
  • Proactive team player and adaptable to fast-paced and, changing working environments;

Versatile and possess the ability to navigate nuances in a fast-paced working environment;

  • Excellent writing skills and strategic problem-solving skills;
  • Track record of influencing stakeholders, and exceptional understanding of opportunities and risks of working collaboratively with other stakeholders;
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, advance, and maintain institutional relationships with relevant organizations to clarify and advocate inDrive values;
  • Prepare and execute licensing plans for all the Company’s branches of business in Indonesia, when necessary;
  • Participate in workshops, conferences, and forums related to the Company’s business and affairs;
  • Develop and actively engage senior officials at both provincial and ministries level, such as the ministry of transport, ministry of communication and information technology, airport authorities, and provincial public offices;
  • Prepare letters, inquiries, and other relevant correspondences to the authorities and organizations within their competence;
  • Prepare an analysis of the political situation in Indonesia that is suitable for inDrive business deployment, inform the management of the Company and other structural units of the changes, and prepare an action plan in case of a possible impact on the Company’s operations.
