Working closely with the Management and Financial Accountant, the team are seeking to appoint a passionate and professional Graduate Accountant to undertake a broad range of duties within the Finance team. This is a critical support role primarily responsible for the preparation of operational reporting and administration of the accounting functions.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity so If you are immediately available, have full unrestricted working rights and are ready to join a supportive finance team with a collaborative culture… then this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

You will report to the Finance Manager and carry out the responsibilities of the Graduate Accountant

Some typical duties will involve:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Corporate credit card expense management
  • Banking
  • Cancellation and reissue of members payments
  • Inter entity funds transfers
  • Month end financial close off
  • Records maintenance (including reconciliation and analysis) of:
  • Fixed assets;
  • Assigned General Ledger accounts.
  • Assistance in the preparation of management, statutory and regulatory reporting, including Annual Reports and APRA Returns.
  • Assistance in the preparation of various GST, FBT and Income Tax returns.
