The role will suit a quality professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering, aerospace, defence, precision engineering or other highly regulated engineering environments.

• Key responsibilities:Support and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
• Conduct internal audits and support compliance activities
• Investigate non-conformances and drive corrective actions
• Lead root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys and Ishikawa
• Review quality documentation, inspection reports and technical records
• Monitor quality KPIs and identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering and inspection teams to drive quality standards and operational performance.

• What we're looking for:Experience working within an Engineering environment
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015
• Apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification would be advantageous.
• Internal Auditor qualification desirable
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Internal Auditor qualification desirable
• Experience of high tolerances, complex components, and both metric and imperial measurement systems.
