Description:

The Graduate Design Engineer works as part of the Engineering team to support new and existing pipeline product development. They would also support the commercial function to develop marketing content through animations and marketing leaflets.

Responsibilities:

Support design and development from concept generation, prototype development through to product launch.
Complete CAD models and detailed drawings as required.
Create technical products brochures, technique guides, training material e.g. video, presentations, leaflets.
Work with suppliers to manufacture 3D printed parts and early stage prototypes.
Support Design Verification and Validation testing in accordance with test protocols.
Support Quality and Regulatory affairs functions as required.
Complete assigned engineering activities in support of medical device product development, including specifications, test methods, technical protocols/reports, design reviews, phase exits etc.
Communicate regular and accurate updates on assigned tasks.
Ensure any Intellectual Property aspects of development are identified and protected.
Maintain and expand knowledge of competitor products in the field of Orthopaedic trauma.
Other related duties as assigned, to ensure workload coverage per business needs.
