Description:

APC is integrally involved in the National Energy Strategy for the island of Ireland in its transition away from a reliance on traditional electricity generation methods to new technologies than can support the ever-growing demand for renewables. As part of this transition, APC has secured several new bespoke Projects across the island and are now looking for a number of experienced and trainee professionals.
One of these exciting roles is for a Graduate and or trainee Electrical Engineer to join our ever-growing team. The role is located Limerick, however for your first assignment you will be based at our Project at Shannonbridge, Co Offaly, you will require regular travel to other sites as required, this role has an immediate start.

DO YOU HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS?

  • Electrical Engineering or Construction Services Degree with electrical bias.
  • Previous experience in a similar position of at least 2 years (desirable).
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical systems desirable.

Responsibilities:

As a Graduate you will play an active role in learning the application of the following elements of site but not limited to:

  • To provide technical support to the Management & site electrical installation teams
  • Responsible for issuing drawings and documentation.
  • Liaise with Contractors to ensure all equipment is electrically commissioned.
  • Preparing and issuing RAMS
  • Reporting to the Project Manager on project progress for electrical elements.
  • Attending site meetings
  • Conduction desktop and field research
  • Administrative duties assigned by the site Manager.
  • Generating site reports.
  • Health & Safety - delivering without accidents or impacts on occupational health Planning and Programming - delivering on time
  • Quality, Improvement & Environmental - delivering efficiently without waste, incidents & defects.
  • Electrical Design Management support - delivery of project to cost and programme on the electrical scope of works.
  • Electrical management support - delivery of optimal solutions for time, cost, and quality.
  • Support Management to maintain an overview of cost-of-service provision to ensure the project is fully productive.
