Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities – Site Based:
Based on site, this role will be to work with the project team to achieve the safe and efficient delivery of works. The duties may involve cost control, record keeping, programming, costing of additional works, management of suppliers, planning of works, meetings and workshops and drafting of method statements. Eventually supervision of work elements may be possible. Generally this role will be shadowing and assisting the Site Manager to learn and understand the delivery stage of a project, understand the contract and witness how works are physically completed.
Core Responsibilities – Office Based:
Supporting the pre-delivery team in securing work and taking projects to a position where they can be delivered on site. Being part of the team to manage design, develop methodologies, programmes, cost estimates and resource profiles to ensure a safe, successful and efficient delivery of the works when they go to site. Work closely with our designers and other suppliers as well as internal delivery teams to develop the best, most in vocative ways of delivering a positive outcome for the projects. Assist in the planning of site surveys. Support internal Temporary Works design teams as required.
The work will involve preparing sketches, helping plan surveys, site visits, meetings and workshops, document management, design management, assistance with cost estimating, assistance in development of programmes and methodologies, presentation of work to piers and Customers and general assistance to the team.
