Description:

APC is integrally involved in the National Energy Strategy for the island of Ireland in its transition away from a reliance on traditional electricity generation methods to new technologies than can support the ever-growing demand for renewables. As part of this transition, APC has secured several new bespoke Projects across the island and are now looking for a number of experienced and trainee professionals.
One of these exciting roles is for a Graduate Engineer to join our ever-growing team. The role is located in Limerick, will require regular travel to our sites and has an immediate start.

DO YOU HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS?

  • Mechanical Engineering or Construction Services Degree.
  • Previous experience in a similar position of at least 2 years.
  • Knowledge and understanding of industrial gas systems desirable.

Responsibilities:

As a Graduate you will play an active role in learning the application of the following elements of site but not limited to:

  • To provide technical support to the Management & site installation teams
  • Responsible for issuing drawings and documentation
  • Liaise with Contractors to ensure all equipment is commissioned
  • Preparing and issuing RAMS
  • Reporting to the Project Manager on project progress
  • Attending site meetings
  • Conduction desktop and field research
  • Administrative duties assigned by the site Manager
  • Generating site reports.
  • Health & Safety - delivering without accidents or impacts on occupational health Planning and Programming - delivering on time
  • Quality, Improvement & Environmental - delivering efficiently without waste, incidents & defects
  • Design Management support - delivery of project to cost and programme
  • M&E management support - delivery of optimal solutions for time, cost, and quality
  • Support Management to maintain an overview of cost of service provision to ensure the project is fully productive.
