Internship experience in water and flooding preferred.
Graduate Engineer to support the Flooding and Water Team located in Melbourne You will be involved in flood modelling and drainage design for a variety of projects from small scale development to catchment-wide council flood studies to major infrastructure across Australia.

Key Responsibilities Include:

With support from your mentor and our team of technical specialists your responsibilities will include:

• Developing hydrologic and hydraulic models cand calculations to assist in flood modelling and drainage design such as TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, DRAINS, WBNM, RORB and GIS packages.
• GIS data analysis and flood mapping
• Design of waterways and flood mitigation measures, scour mitigation design and cross-drainage
• Coordinating with other engineering disciplines and actively participating in interdisciplinary workshops as required.
• Technical reporting.
• Directly contacting clients and stakeholders
• Site walkovers and inspections
