The Role

We are currently looking for a vibrant Graduate Engineer (Civil Engineering Structures) to join our Structures team based in our Durban Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for This position is responsible for the technical design of projects within the section and will be required to assist Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating technically accurate and well-presented reports
• Overseeing Technicians/Draughtsmen in project work
• Analyzing details to suggest improvements
• Giving technical presentations and attending meetings
• Adhering to established procedures
• Ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget
• Developing expertise in local business technologies
• Inspecting construction projects for compliance
• Considering time and cost factors in project planning
• Assisting in bid preparation
• Providing software training to team members
• Managing meeting schedules and recording minutes
• Supporting Engineers by reviewing technical designs
• Carrying out technical tasks as directed by the Engineer.

Recommended Qualifications, Skills And Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering degree/higher degree from accredited university/college
• 0- 3 years’ experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
