• We’re looking for innovative graduates in the disciplines of Mechanical/Mechatronics, Electrical, Petroleum, Process or Renewable engineering. We also have opportunities for graduates in Geosciences, Health, Safety and Environment.
• Ideal candidates will appreciate teamwork, excel in communication and problem-solving, effectively engage with a variety of people and be excited by the opportunity to play a critical role in powering our future and support the energy transition.
• Graduate roles are located primarily in Brisbane with limited opportunities available in Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle.
• To assist in developing an exceptional technical foundation that turbocharges your career and provides a deeper learning experience, site-based rotations may be offered. (This could be fly-in-fly-out or relocating for a period of time at the company’s expense).
• You must hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency (PR) to be eligible for this opportunity and be available to start full-time work in February 2025.

As a Graduate at Origin you will be part of a team playing a critical role in powering our future and supporting the energy transition as a leading gas producer for Australian and international markets. Beginning in February 2025, you’ll embark on a transformative three-year journey, marked by hands-on learning, role rotations, comprehensive training, mentorship, and exclusive development prospects, shaping your career trajectory.
You’ll be empowered to work in a variety of roles across the business in both site and office-based environments, providing a strong technical foundation and experiences outside of your core discipline.
During the program, you’ll receive personalised support to reach your goals, including daily coaching, participation in a formal mentoring program, guidance from a graduate buddy, comprehensive technical training, and various professional development opportunities. Our smaller graduate cohorts ensure a tailored experience, paving the way for long-term career prospects across multiple fields.
